Advancing the Science of Behavior

Join us in transforming the way humans interact with each other, technology, organizations and the world.

About Our Department

Our teams of scientist-practitioners address major behavioral and social issues and challenges in today’s world. Their expertise is contributing to advancing knowledge about how individuals are affected by physical, emotional, educational, organizational and community contexts and experiences.

The department has an active and dedicated group of scholars, staff, graduate and undergraduate students who are fostering the growth of innovative research, teaching and learning. We have three overarching goals:

  1. Advance the science and practice of psychology.
  2. Continue integrating psychology in the university’s mission.
  3. Prepare the next generation to identify and address the concerns that challenge and inspire them.

What can I do with my degree?

An undergraduate degree in psychology will prepare you for a variety of career paths ranging from social services, marketing, human resources and many more. You’ll also fulfill prerequisites to enter health-related graduate programs such as medical school and occupational therapy.
