Students who enter the PhD program with a master’s or Specialist degree in school psychology are allowed to have selected courses waived at the discretion of the Director (up to 18 hours). Over the past 10 years, students entering with a master’s degree earned their PhD in 4.4 years on average which is significantly less than the overall 6.3 years on average.
