Minors
For information about becoming a Psychology minor, please read the information available on the website and then schedule an appointment with one of the psychology academic advisors. All of the psychology academic advisors are located in Poe 639. We have sign-up sheets for appointments posted outside our door so that you can make a specific appointment time with one of us. Please do not email us to make an appointment. If you cannot come by to make an appointment, please call us at (919) 513-4855 to schedule an appointment. We also have walk-in hours that you might be able to take advantage of if you come by and one of us is available.
During your appointment with a psychology academic advisor, we will go over a written Plan of Work form with you and help you identify what courses will give you what you need from the minor. We will make a copy of that form for you to take with you to your meetings with your major adviser and we will give you guidance on what the process is for getting the official minor. The meeting usually takes about 20 minutes.
